There are a number of awards that are given out each year by Morden Minor Hockey and various sponsors.  Here is a list of the current awards and the criteria for each one:

Participation certificates:  These are provided by Esso, and are given to each of the Pre-Novice and Novice age team members.

Achievement medals:  These are provided by Esso, and are given to each age category from Atom and older.  There is a medal in each category for Most Sportsmanlike (with Ability), Most Dedicated and Most Improved.

Morden Thunder Award (formerly the Morden Mohawk Award):  This trophy is provided by the Morden Collegiate Institute, and is provided to a Minor Age Bantam boy and girl who display excellent hockey ability combined with a high academic standing.  ALL Bantam coaches are able to give recommendations.

Mark Dell Memorial Trophy:  This trophy is dedicated to the memory of Mark Dell, son of John and Marilyn Dell who was a 17 year old who played hockey with enthusiasm and from the heart, to the best of his ability and with respect to fellow athletes.  This trophy goes each year to the Major Age Bantam boy player who best combines sportsmanship and playing ability.
